The Social Justice Camp for Kids
DIRECTOR'S GUILD

Our Directors Guild is a core of camp directors, educators, parents, and social activist dedicated to teaching, advocating for youths in social justice at any level and in any context (formal or informal). It is a forum for those desirous of creating a Social Justice Camp for Kids in their own context. Members will also come to share interesting resources for high quality teaching about social justice that have been found, used, or in planning for use. The SJC4K Director's Guild gathers quarterly to discuss topics related to Social Justice Education and activism.

We are excited to be partnering with Atlanta's Urban Food Forest at Browns Mill to present 2022 the Social Justice Camp for Kids! Our focus for the summer sessions is Food Justice and Advocacy. When camper activist attend camp, not only will they will learn about constructive advocacy while learning about gardening but they will engage also understand the importance of project management and sustainability. Our project will enhance the property's water systems and promote organic fertilization. We are very excited about this partnership and feel our camper activist will benefit.
